Marketing Manager (Brain Products)
Having a qualified, reliable and committed team is a key factor for staying successful as a company. Just like continuously successful sports teams are proud of their “new signings”, we are proud of ours and would like to briefly introduce our new team members to you.
R&D – Software Development
In late April 2016 Armin Böller joined our R&D department to strengthen our BrainVision Analyzer 2 development team. Armin did his Masters degree in computer science at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg (Sweden) in late 2013. Prior to this, he had successfully finished his diploma course in mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg (Germany).
With a continuously growing Analyzer 2 user base and an equally growing number of features to be implemented and kept up to date in terms of methodology and technology, we are happy to welcome Armin on board. His expertise will support our existing development team to make sure Analyzer 2 keeps EEG labs all around the world working in an efficient and productive manner, and makes it easy for them to analyze and publish their data.
Our Scientific Support team grew further as well! In early July 2016, Dr.-Ing. Kidist Mideksa joined us as a Scientific Consultant. From January 2012 – October 2015 Kidist was a doctoral candidate at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel (Germany), where she focused on multimodal imaging analysis using EEG and MEG. The title of her dissertation was „Source analysis on simultaneously measured Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and Electroencephalography (EEG) signals of the brain in tremors and epileptic disorders“. After spending another 8 months as a postdoctoral researcher at „Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein“ (UKSH) in Kiel (Germany), we are happy that Kidist has now decided to join Brain Products.
Alongside her SciSup-Colleagues, Kidist will mainly provide our BrainVision Analyzer 2 users with support related to software and data analysis questions as well as scientific issues. For sure, you will also have plenty of opportunities to meet Kidist in person (e.g. at conferences and workshops) or online (i.e. during our BrainVision Analyzer 2 webinars).
Last but not least, let me introduce you to Nicolas Pingel, M.A.. He also joined us in early July and is our new Process Manager. Nicolas has a Diploma in Economics as well as a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Management (Human Resources) and has already gathered several years of work experience in the field of process management. At Brain Products Nicolas will work collaboratively across all departments to further improve existing processes and design and implement new ones.
With his expertise and experience Nicolas will help make sure that, we – a continuously growing company – keep working efficiently and stay in line with our established principles at the same time. In other words: He will be one of those who pulls important strings (internally at Brain Products) to guarantee you the reliable and competent solutions, services and support you’ve been used to in the past in the future as well.
Although some of the above are rarely in direct contact with you – our customers and distributors – they all contribute equally to making Brain Products what it is and what it stands for and we are proud to have them on board!
