Team Leader of Operative Marketing (Brain Products)

Having a qualified, reliable and committed team is a key factor for staying successful as a company. Just like continuously successful sports teams are proud of their “new signings”, we are proud of ours and would like to briefly introduce our new team members to you.

Scientific Support

In July 2018, Bastian Schledde, M.Sc. and Laura Leuchs, M.Sc. joined our Scientific Support Team as Scientific Consultants. Alongside their SciSup-Colleagues, they will mainly provide our BrainVision Analyzer 2 users with support related to software and data analysis questions as well as scientific issues. For sure, you will also have plenty of opportunities to meet Bastian and Laura in person at conferences/workshops or online – during our BrainVision Analyzer 2 webinars.

Laura Leuchs, M.Sc.:

Laura LeuchsLaura studied Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich (Germany), finishing her Bachelor’s in 2011 and her Master’s in 2013. For the past 5 years she was enrolled at the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences of the LMU, pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience. She conducted her research in the psychophysiology project group and the neuroimaging core unit of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry (Munich, Germany), investigating fear learning in healthy and psychiatric populations. The topic of her doctoral thesis was “Tracking fear learning with pupillometry: psychophysiological and neuroimaging investigations” and she expects to officially receive her PhD degree shortly.

Bastian Schledde, M.Sc.:

Bastian SchleddeBastian has a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) and a Master’s in Neurosciences from the University of Bremen (Germany). The topic of his masters thesis was “Investigation of dynamic attention modulation using multielectrode recording in monkey area MT”. Before joining Brain Products, he was a Research Associate at the Brain Research Institute in Bremen. His research efforts there focused on neurophysiological principles of higher cognitive brain functions, particularly the mechanism governing motion perception in relation to visual attention and behavioral performance.

We are very happy that again two skilled researchers have joined our team and will bring their expertise to our Scientific Support department and thus to you, our users. Welcome on board!

Technical Support

Clara GünterClara Guenter, M.Eng. is the newest Scientific Consultant in our Technical Support Team and joined Brain Products in August 2018. Alongside her colleagues, she will help you with words and deeds in terms of technical questions regarding the handling and usage of our products and solutions. Additionally, Clara and the Technical Support team are also available to advise on scientific issues like optimal experimental setup.

Clara has a Bachelor’s in Medical Engineering (University of Applied Sciences, Koblenz, Germany) and is about to finish her Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg (Sweden). She wrote her master’s thesis at the university’s Biomechatronics and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory; her topic was: “Direct Stimulation of Peripheral Nerves to Provide Sensory Feedback”.

With her outstanding technical background and lots of programming experience, we are sure that Clara will be a valuable addition to our Technical Support department! Again, welcome to the team, Clara!
